The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality service and supporting a safe, efficient shop environment. This role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in their technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and commitment to customer satisfaction.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul>  <li>Perform accurate diagnostics on vehicle systems, including engine, brake, electrical, steering, suspension, transmission, and HVAC components.</li>  <li>Complete repairs and maintenance services according to manufacturer guidelines and shop standards.</li>  <li>Inspect vehicles to identify safety concerns, worn parts, and potential mechanical issues.</li>  <li>Use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and service information systems to determine root causes of vehicle problems.</li>  <li>Document findings, repair recommendations, and completed work clearly and accurately.</li>  <li>Communicate professionally with service advisors or team members regarding repair needs and estimated completion times.</li>  <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop policies and safety procedures.</li>  <li>Stay current on evolving automotive technologies, repair methods, and manufacturer updates.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul>  <li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across multiple vehicle systems.</li><li>Complete set of tools to perform most repairs</li>  <li>Working knowledge of modern repair techniques, tools, and shop equipment.</li>  <li>Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair instructions.</li>  <li>Experience with routine maintenance, preventative care, and complex mechanical repairs.</li>  <li>Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workmanship.</li>  <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li>  <li>Ability to lift moderate to heavy items and work in varying shop conditions.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Experience</h2><ul>  <li>GM Certification preferred, other OEM Certified are welcome!</li><li>Experience working with domestic, import, or light-duty vehicle systems.</li>  <li>Familiarity with digital inspection tools and shop management systems.</li>  <li>Previous experience in a dealership, independent repair facility, or fleet maintenance environment.</li>  <li>ASE or similar professional certifications are a plus.</li></ul><h2>What We Offer</h2><ul>  <li>Sign on and relocation incentives available based on experience.</li><li>Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.</li>  <li>Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.</li>  <li>A supportive team environment focused on quality and safety.</li>  <li>Access to modern tools, equipment, and diagnostic resources.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul></ul><h2>About You</h2><p>You are a dependable professional who enjoys solving problems, working with vehicles, and delivering excellent service.
